We are witnessing the largest shift in media in centuries, manifesting in what is now called the Creator Economy. The internet and Web 2.0 have radically democratized content creation and paved the way for a massive $20B+ creator advertising market. However, due to an absence of infrastructure in the market: it’s impossible for Marketers to do creator marketing at scale, and for Creators to monetize their content easily.

As our Founding Marketer, you’ll be the driving force behind spreading Passionfroot’s story. This is an incredible opportunity to build and scale marketing from the ground up, with a special focus on content and social media marketing. We seek an ambitious and resourceful marketing generalist who can work closely with our CEO, scaling existing channels and exploring new opportunities.

Our product is loved by creators and top marketers from companies like Intercom, Notion, and Hubspot, and we want to amplify this success. We’re not just selling a product; we’re creating a new market category and need your expertise to educate the market and drive adoption.

You’ll be instrumental in refining our messaging, scaling existing channels, and building a robust marketing engine across our website, LinkedIn, X, in-product, and beyond. This is a rare opportunity to make a visible impact as we define a new industry.

What you'll achieve

  • Develop the Marketing strategy: Set goals, plan, and prioritize across all areas of marketing.
  • Tell our story: Refine our brand story and create compelling content that resonates with both creators and brands—guides, case studies, social media posts, visuals, videos, lifecycle marketing emails and more.
  • Drive growth: Launch, track, and optimize programs/campaigns across multiple channels, including but not limited to social media, email marketing, event marketing, lead generation, and paid media to move prospects and customers down the funnel.
  • Support product marketing: Understand our users deeply, craft messaging and material that highlights Passionfroot’s unique value.
  • Foster community: Build and nurture a passionate community of creators and marketers through engaging content and events.
  • Ability to build out the marketing function: We do not have all of our tools, processes, and workflows built out yet. You will need to help build this out, figure out what works, and test and scale with automations and AI.

Who we’re looking for

  • Location: This is a New York-based role as part of the founding GTM team.
  • Experience: 5+ years of broad expertise across marketing, with deep knowledge in at least two areas: content marketing and product marketing, preferably in B2B software targeting marketers. You are an all-rounder in content creation with an eye for design and creative spark that can easily flip between Figma/graphic design, copywriting, video editing, and motion design.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to create content that connects with audiences.
  • Data-driven: You make decisions based on insights and have a solid understanding of marketing analytics. Ideally, you are proficient in marketing tools, platforms and paid media (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO tools, Linkedin Ads).
  • Passion: You’re eager to thrive in a fast-growing market where your work will directly shape the future of work. You're also passionate about educating audiences with top-tier content and crafting compelling visual assets.
  • Ownership & Ambition: You’re entrepreneurial, self-driven, and excited about shaping a marketing function from the ground up

About the Process

  1. Introductory Call (30 min) with Jen (CEO).
  2. Technical Interview (30 min) with Filip (CGO).
  3. Marketing Challenge —You’ll work on a challenge & present the outcome to Jen & Filip.
  4. Culture Fit (30 min) with Lorenzo (CTO).
  5. Reference Calls with an investor or team member.
  6. Offer Stage: We’ll tailor an offer based on your preferences for salary and equity.
